Moving house

We are hoping to move house soon- next Friday to be exact. But it is not guaranteed yet.

I have stupidly come on the talktalk site and put in our house move date to change the address on my account. I confirmed it all- not realising I wouldn't be able to adjust the dates if it doesnt go ahead. 

Can someone help?

@Claire06  Home Moves normally require at least two weeks notice.

 

If the new address already has an internet service and you have not informed the current occupier that you have ordered a service there, they will get a "sorry to hear you are leaving" message from their ISP out of the blue and that can cause much confusion.

 

If the property is empty with no service and you want broadband over the phone line, have you checked with the seller/agent that there is a line in place ?
