My Router keeps resetting due to Kernel Panic

Hi,

 

I have one of your EchoLife DG8041W Home Gateway routers.


It's been rebooting frequently, on the logs the error is "System reset due to kernel panic"

 

It's running Software Version v1.05t and reading this forum it looks like v1.06t resolves it?


Can you please arrange to upgrade my firmware remotely.

 

It's been like this since we had it back in 2020.  I switched back to the old router for a while but it was starting to struggle so I've put this one back in and it still gets the same issue as 3 years ago.

If you do experience any further issues then please let me know and I can send a Sagemcom WIFI hub for testing.

Hi Debbie, 

 

It seems to be a bit better, but I have had to reset the router once.  It was a little bit strange though as the internet only stopped working on some of the devices in the house but carried on working for others.
