My wired connection provided by BT is slow and unreliable.

The BT engineers are operating in my area and switching many customers with an old wire connection to their properties with a fibre one. After speaking to a manager, I was told that if I wanted my line changed I had to speak to TalkTalk. Can you provide some information as to whether this is feasible, bearing in mind that I am not very happy with my router slow start-up and below the Fibre 35 speed I am paying for?

Advise would be most appreciated.

Sometimes "offers and upgrades" doesn't show anything. 

 

You are usually better phoning in or using Chat for better, bespoke deals, so use the phone number etc given in the earlier staff reply.

Hi, Have done all of that, but the site does not work well for me. The dashboard link is the only one that shows something, like my name and account number and the amount due this month. All of the other important links I want to open, they simply show a blank screen and nothing else no matter how long I wait. Totally ridiculous waste of my time getting nowhere.

Can you please clear your browser's cache and cookies and let us know how it goes. This can often resolve loading issues stemming from outdated files.

I cannot get any details of anything in my account apart from the Dashboard with my name and account no. What's going on with this website? All of the other links, after clicking them individually, try to open, but nothing happens, no matter how long I wait. Frustration is at its highest level.  Any suggestions?

Hi @nalag46 I'm sure you will find an option to upgrade in "my account" failing that 03451720088 and ask for customer services. 

I don't work here and all my opinions are my own.
