Hi,

I'm building a self-build home next year in Suffolk and need some advice on getting the broadband cable from the overhead pole into my house. Can you let me know how I can contact a Talk Talk engineer so we can talk about it?

No we don't install the cable, as ferguson has said, you'll need to contact Openreach directly.

Thanks for the reply. Just to double-check, you're saying Talk Talk don't install the cable from the street to my house via a duct I will install under the drive? If that is the case, do I need to talk to someone like BT or Open Reach?

Hi John,

If you're building a new build property you would need to arrange for it to be added to the Royal Mail database. Only then would you be able to place an order for a broadband connection. We don't lay the infrastructure ourselves so we wouldn't be able to set this up for you.
