Port forwarding minecraft server

I have no idea what im doing wrong but no matter what i do i cant portfoward my minecraft server, when i go on portchecker it always says closed, ive gone through every way i can find and think of to try figure this out but i dont understand it.  

i have 2 routers , the eero and a tenda ac2100, the eero is connected to the tenda and then the tenda to the rest of the ethernet devices and wireless devices, ive tried portfowarding with that and it still says closed so i tested it but connecting there pc/server straight to the eero and port fowarding it and it still says port closed

i really dont understand

Hi Chris,

This is my first time trying it with talktalk provider, i use to be with bt about a year ago but i havent needed to make am minecraft server nor port foward it but this week i wanted too but it just doesnt seem to work to the slightest even withg every method ive seen from youtube or other forums to do with the subject

I would greatly appreciate your help with the matter
