Hi, my iPad has a privacy warning showing in wi-if which says THIS NETWORK IS BLOCKING ENCRYPTED DNS TRAFFIC, how do I fix this as it is affecting some websites I try to go into.

Ah, no worries, sorry we couldn't get there.

From the 29th of March our TalkTalk Community will move to peer-to-peer support and the TalkTalk team will no longer be here to support with queries. Don’t worry we still have plenty of ways to reach out if you need to speak to TalkTalk directly. For more details check out the link here: How to contact TalkTalk Broadband - Help & Support.

OK my friend, well that's me all out I'm afraid. Reach out to Apple directly, perhaps?

Right. Does the offending iPad have the latest iPadOS on board? Maybe try a hard reset?

The thing is we have another iPad and two iPhones with the same settings and they work fine. It’s just baffling.

Are you using TalkTalk DNS server settings in your router? Maybe change those to third-party e.g. Google DNS.

Hmm. And have you checked that the DNS settings actually match the server settings? I'm running out of ideas here tbh.

OK, one more thing:  again under WiFi settings, is your Private WiFi address set to Fixed, or otherwise?
