ROUTER TO DEVICE PROBLEMS

after never really having any broadband problems either wired or WiFi to our phones/TV's etc, we now have good connection to the router ( according to the support page ) but TalkTalk tells me only 8 to 12mbps to TV and phone today. I've rebooted the router. No change. I've changed TV from wired to WiFi, no difference. Router is in the same place it's always been. What next to try ? "Browse files to attach" does not respond, so I can't send screenshot of TalkTalk router to device speed issues.
