Regular dropouts in broadband connection

I have been having regular dropouts in my connection for over a week now. The speed is fine when it is working, but the connection drops at least 5-10 times per day.

Hi,

The engineer fixed the issue and after switching my router off for 30 minutes, speeds are now back to normal, so it looks like it is fixed.

I'm sorry for the delay.

 

I can see that the fault has already been assigned to a line engineer this morning.

 

I will check on this fault again later this afternoon for additional updates.

Please can you elaborate by answering these few questions:-

1. What make/model of router do you have (if this is a TalkTalk router, these details will be on a label on the rear or underside of it)?
2. What is the exact status of the lights on the front of the router when this happens?
3. If you have any wired connections, are they affected in the same way as wireless ones?
