router light keeps going red and needs to be reset daily.

Is the router defective and needs a replacement?

Hi @Gulper,

 

What model of router do you have, it is one that just has a single LED ?. If it just has one LED are you getting a flashing or solid amber light ?

 

For one of the TalkTalk Support Team on this community to be able to look into this you will need to update your community profile to include your name, landline telephone number that your TalkTalk service is provided on & an alternative contact number. This will allow them to identify you, and they will then be able to help.

 

Don't post any personal details in this thread, just add them to your community profile (only you and the TalkTalk Support Team on this community can see your profile details).

 

The Support Team on this community probably won't be around until Tuesday now, so you may get faster support by using the live chat or calling customer services on 0345 172 0088 over the holiday weekend, however the Support Team here should respond to this topic early next week to help if you are still having issues.

Mine ('WiFi Hub') did exactly that for the last month, until today when even a power cycle or a factory reset wouldn't bring it back to life. So, probably, you will need a replacement very soon. It was suggested here a firmware update might fix it but it died before I could arrange that.
