It's hard to look ahead as you don't know when / if Talktalk will team up with whichever company is doing the installation, @Bjfish.
Often Talktalk contacts customers when it's available, to offer a free upgrade. You'd have to wait and see.
There wouldn't be a penalty for changing if it was an offer from Talktalk.
