I am have trouble downloading games to my ps5.. I can not download any of my ps5 games. The ps5 works fine, but my download speed is slow and sluggish, I have tried resetting the router and moving the router, the router is five years old.

Does anyone have any suggestions what I can do

Morning,

 

Can I just confirm, are the speeds only slow when downloading games or at all time? Have you also tried running the speed tests wired to see how the speeds compare?

Please can you elaborate by answering these few questions:-

 

  1. What package are you on?
  2. What make/model of router do you have (if this is a TalkTalk router, these details will be on a label on the rear or underside of it)?
  3. If you log into the router, what speed does it show there for the internet link? I can be more precise when I know which router you have
  4.  If you have any wired connections, are they affected in the same way as wireless ones?
