Unable to portforward Port 22 & 80

After reading some of the posts on here and speaking with a representative I was told to make this post.

I am trying to portforward port 80 and 22 but I am getting the message "'THE CONFIGURED PORT CONFLICTS WITH THE INTERNAL SERVICE PORT'.

I was told by the representative to make a post and wait for a reply.

Hi Splatt68

I've ordered you a Sagemcom WIFI hub, please allow 24-48hrs for this to arrive.

Let us know how you get on.

Thanks

Debbie

Just to confirm then, you want to swap your DG8041W for the Sagemcom 5364?

I brought this to the attention of the developers a long while back. So far no firmware update has fixed this. You have two choices:-

  1. Use a different external port for each, say 6022 and set its internal port to 22. The downside of this workaround is that you would need to configure your client to use port 6022 rather than 22.
  2. Ask the TalkTalk support on this forum if they will consider swapping out your DG8041W for the Sagemcom 5364, which is a better router IMHO. Of course, just being a customer myself, I cannot guarantee they will do this, that is between you & them. They will not likely be active on the forum until Tuesday now.
