I'm looking to change my current Internet service from NowTV, who have proven themselves to be useless and *@#][!![]'#[@#]!*, to TalkTalk. Do I need to do anything in particular when switching services? What do I do with my NowTV router?

That will be down to NOW, check their T&Cs. The best way to change providers is using the One Touch Switch process, TalkTalk should put that in place for you when you make your order as long as you specify that you are moving from one provider to another.

From the 29th of March our TalkTalk Community will move to peer-to-peer support and the TalkTalk team will no longer be here to support with queries. Don’t worry we still have plenty of ways to reach out if you need to speak to TalkTalk directly. For more details check out the link here: How to contact TalkTalk Broadband - Help & Support.

You should be asking Now this question as they may want it back and may have a charge they apply if you fi not.

Ask them for a returns bag or if you are able to recycle locally using your local council electronics recycling scheme.

TalkTalk should keep you advised on progress as your service progresses through the system.

We also recommend customers, who are moving From TalkTalk to advise customer services they are leaving so they should hear from both the customer and the new customer.

It might be worth your phoning Now to advise this at the same time as requesting a returns bag.
