Hi I recently started using a new router Fast5364 and without warning the WiFi speed slows right down from 8mbs to 0.50 mbs I change the channel and that helps, I'm wondering if my router is set up correctly can you help or have any other ideas.

Hey there @eskijo,
That's correct! As for this you will firstly have to login to your router admin by simply entering the IP address of your router into your browser and press enter. The IP address is usually 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1.
To log into your router, you need a username and password. You can usually find these details on a sticker located on the back of the router. Just look for the words "username" and "password" on that sticker and use them to access the router's settings.
After logging into your router, look for a section called "router channels/Wireless Settings." In this section, you can choose a specific channel for your Wi-Fi signal. You can select the frequency you want, like 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz, depending on what works best for your devices. This helps improve your Wi-Fi connection🙂.
@eskijo please also be advised that router channels change automatically due to Auto optimization on the router.
