Workplace VPN suddenly not working

Hi,
Been using VPN to log into work from home for 4 years fine. Today it's suddenly not working. I'm having to log in via Mobile Hotspot. All is fine when speaking to IT team. They have suggested an issue with TalkTalk???? Can you help?

No the firmware was rolled out a few weeks ago. Some VPN clients were not working with the old firmware version.
It would be worth powering down for 30 minutes and then retesting again.

Hi,
Sorry i don't fully follow. You've added a new firmware that has now fixed it? Or a firmware has been added the last few days? Last time i used the VPN was last Thursday and it worked fine.
I believe the VPN is called Watchguard. No not powered off for 30 mins....... do i need to?

I've checked and your router has the new firmware version with the fix for the reported VPN fault.
Which VPN client are you using?
Have you tried powering down your router for a full 30 minutes? (this will start a new session)
