Very organised and have put number of emails from regular senders into files/folders within my Talktalk webmail.
However, have come to realise I have zero clue how to access these folders/files now?
Any pointers gratefully received
Thanks : )

@Billx
Exactly that; hadn't noticed the folder icon before at all but having searched everywhere else within the webmail page; alighted on it final moment & yes, it's the faint little icon, under the archive 'box,' with the central line through it
Your version much clearer but, now I know all good going forward
Enjoy your evening & upcoming weekend & thank you : )

Hi, @nicky62

Those icons or pics don't mean a lot to me, except the bin icon.

If you were using TalkTalk webmail, you would see something like this, on the left of the webpage:

TalkTalk webmailTalkTalk webmail

Perhaps you were using some other email app.

You can see I have 1 new folder added by me.

So, in your screenshot, the icon with the vertical line in the centre must be the 'My folders' icon.

But yes, all's OK.

@Billx ~ I'd created the folders after clicking 'move' as an option for some of my emails ~ once prompted where to move to, opened a folder with for each topic/sender.
Then came to realise I had no idea where these folders were stored.
Only now have I just found the tiny, slightly faint blue, 'folder' icon right at the bottom of left hand menu: pen icon at the top then inbox, drafts, sent, spam, trash, archive listed below ~ followed by white, blank space until, what I've now learned to be folders, at foot of that list as shown here in pic
Thanks for your help today : )

So, @nicky62 , had you put them under 'My folders' or under something else?

Hi, @nicky62

I don't think they are called " 'filed' folders " or ' files/folders' or 'saved folders'.

I think you mean newly created folders under the heading 'My folders'.

(To create, a new folder, click  'My folders' --> Right click --> click 'Add new folder' --> enter name of new folder --> click 'Add')

If that's so, don't the 6 new folders show when you click the arrow on the left of 'My folders'?

And doesn't each of those 6 new folders open when you click on it, to show what's in each of them?

So those saved folders, are the ones you've created and now can't access them?

Hi @kanya-TT
Nope, not as complicated as that
I've made around 6 folders for frequent senders
Only way I can see those 6 folders is if I click on an email message, then select move; at which point my 6 folders become visible as an option to put ticked email message into.
Even when I then can visibly see the folders, I can't actually access them.
What I seek to do is to return to my saved folders, and view the emails within them
No idea how to access those saved folders, however
Thank you : )
