I am unable to send emails, when I try I get the above error message, but I seem to be receiving them. Please can you help?

Hi Pailgreen, have you tried disabling your block filters? We're showing 96 fails on IMAP connections. What settings have you tried using?

Try a different Internet browser. i.e. Swap between Chrome, Edge or Firefox. 

 

Select here: Sign in to TalkTalk Mail

Enter your full TalkTalk Mail email address, select Continue and enter the password, select Sign in.

Hi Gondola

Thanks so much. Unfortunately I’ve tried deleting history and also under advanced section cleared Website data but still unable to send new emails. The same error code still comes up. Don’t know what to do now.

This error message is an error on the TalkTalk Mail platform that happens when accessing the mailbox. The issue will usually resolve itself on a retry if you wait a few minutes or will be caused by a corruption of the cookies in your browser.

 

For this latter issue you simply clear the browser cache and cookies and start afresh. Cookies must be retained for the whole session so if you do have any software that's deleting or blocking cookies then do a full browser reset to also unload any browser add-on or extension that may be affecting the saved cookies.

 

Let us know when you're back in control. Or if you have received any TT error code when sending mail messages and what that error code is.
