Ask us about your TalkTalk email account and Webmail.
yesterday
Sorry for the long post, but I want to give as much detail which may be of help to others. I know there's nobody from TalkTalk on here anymore, and I'm fully aware that TalkTalk email is being migrated to Everymail.
I read several posts about the change a while ago, when I was sent an email suggesting I have to subscribe because I'm no longer a TalkTalk customer. However, I am a customer. Some comments were suggesting that mistakes were made regarding a database and customers were being sent emails in error.
I had a webchat with someone who agreed that my account was in order and I didn't need to do anything, so I didn't. Message from Shaizad - 'I’ve checked the details on your account, and I’d like to reassure you that there is nothing to worry about. As you are an active broadband customer with TalkTalk, your email service will remain fully available to you'. Followed by - 'The email you received is generally intended for customers who no longer have an active broadband service with us. Since this does not apply to you, no action is required from your side'. The warning banners never went away.
I read the information provided by fr8ys , however some of the wording in the post has me confused. one sentence 'please note that if you provide the required information you will not be charged and your email address(es) will be associated with your Broadband Account'. Provide what information - my bank details? Which plan I want to purchase (for £50?) If I'm not being charged why do I need to purchase a plan and why do they need my bank details?
Further down the page is the comment 'Note though, that if you have signed up to Everymail and are an existing customer it is not possible to reverse the transfer to Everymail'. An existing customer of TalkTalk, or Everymail?
The original TalkTalk email appears to say I have to sign up , TalkTalk support say I don't. I was happy to wait and see what happened. Anyway, I'm locked out now, presumably because I haven't given them my bank details.
My email addresses are all listed on the Everymail sign up page, so do I have to give them my bank details to activate them and hope I don't end up paying £50?

If you are a current customer of Talktalk for broadband, please have NOTHING to do with Everymail.
Get in touch with Talktalk ASAP by phone [9am - 7pm weekdays, till 6pm Saturday] on 03451 720088 or use Live Chat.
You should not give any information to Everymail. Were the listed addresses auto-filled, or did you add them yourself? You would only pay Everymail if you had already left Talktalk and wanted continued use of the addresses.
Hoping you are not too far down the road of subscribing, @Vitrocmax.
The agent should complete a form which should associate your legacy email addresses with your current broadband account, if they are retrievable. While a customer with Talktalk you shouldn't be paying extra for your associated email addresses. The details required for the form are simply the email addresses themselves and the correct Talktalk broadband account - nothing financial at all.
