I Think @Mandisa-TT is referring to TalkTalk webmail via a browser in a computer.

The same might not apply, if this is done via the browser on a mobile phone, as @KeithFrench noted.

So, @izzywhit when you go to TalkTalk webmail via the browser on the mobile phone,

can you enter webmail settings, and see all the settings referred to by @Mandisa-TT ?

Edit: By  the way, new Outlook for Windows does not have any option to filter any incoming emails

(Maybe it does, if one uses an @outlook.com email address.)

I understand, There's a few ways that you can add senders to blocklist

Within the email

  1. Select the Ellipsis (3 dots) top right
  2. From the dropdown menu select Add sender to Blocklist
  3. You'll get a confirmation screen, if you're happy select Add
  4. You can then select Delete from top left of email

From the inbox

  1. Select the emails that you want to block by adding check mark to the boxes on the left
  2. When you have selected the ones you require
  3. Select the Ellipsis (3 dots)at the top
  4. From the dropdown menu select Add sender to Blocklist
  5. You'll get a confirmation screen, if you're happy  select Add
  6. Whilst these are highlighted you have the option to delete these by selecting Delete at the top of page

Managing Blocklist

  1. Select the hamburger menu (3 stacked lines) from top left of the menu bar
  2. From the dropdown menu select Settings
  3. On the next dropdown menu Select Mail
  4. Scroll down to Access Lists
  5. Select the Blocklist Tab
  6. Here you can Edit or Delete each email

Quite a few email apps for a phone (like Outlook, from what I can see) do not have any junk filtering, relying on server-side filtering. You could try TalkTalk's Webmail, I am not sure what it is like in a mobile browser though:-

Hi Keith

The version is on my phone and doesn't even have a general category in settings but it's version is 4.2519.0 (3251984)

Does this help ?

Hi @izzywhit

Currently, there are numerous types of Outlook that you might be using; their names can be very confusing. Is it New Outlook for Windows, the one that ships with Windows 11 currently? If you go into its Settings cog, then go to:-

General > About Outlook > Version

The latest of which should show as "Microsoft Outlook Version: 1.2025.522.100 (Production)"?

Hi Keith

My domain is tiscali.co.uk.

I am on POP3

I mainly use Microsoft outlook because I don't have to log in every time as I have to do with talk talk webmail.

My version of outlook doesn't have a spam or junk folder.

I have sent many spam emails to the spam folder in talk talk webmail.

I have sent countless attachments of emails to spam@talktalk through outlook.

Like I say I am still getting a dozen or so per day.

I would like to know how to block email addresses in talk talk web mail because it is so hard to find these things.

Regards

What email domain is your email address (talktalk.net etc). Please do not include your full email address as anyone, the world over, will be able to read it.

How do you access your email, via Webmail or an email client? If the latter, which one?
