I have checked connection Doctor which shows that it is connected but, not sure if what is entered is correct.

From the profile completion guage I don't think the OP has yet followed my advice to put the affected tiscali email address in the Community Profile, Personal Information, Private Notes.

This mailbox isn't limited. Assuming of course that it's the one you registered on the community.

Hi col2112, I've asked the email admins to check the mailbox for you. If its limited I've requested that it be restored to full service .

As you were using insecure settings it's likely that the mailbox has been limited to webmail only access as a last resort action to stop insecure connections being made. Keep the new secure settings in place. The OS is compatible.
Please put your email address in the Community profile private notes and I'll request that TalkTalk check the mailbox status. If it's been limited to webmail only access then they'll authorise the restoration of IMAP access for you.
Select here: Sign in to TalkTalk Mail
Enter your full TalkTalk Mail email address and password, select Sign in. This is to check that you do have webmail access and the account is active which will enable you to use the mailbox whilst TalkTalk check the status for you.

I have changed the POP mail server port number to 995. I still cannot send emails.
My Mac OS is Catalina version 10.15.7

The incoming server port is set up incorrectly. For secure mail the incoming POP mail server port number is 995.
Having made the changes is the incoming mail and outgoing mail now working or are there still authentication / password verification errors? If receiving and sending is not working it's possible the mailbox has been limited to webmail only access because of the use of insecure settings.
One final question before involving TalkTalk Support - what is the MAC OS? It needs to be 10.12 Sierra or newer to support TLS 1.2 connection security required for TalkTalk Mail.

The outgoing mail server is now set up perfectly.
Just for completeness, untick automatically manage connection settings for the incoming POP server and screenshot again so I can see the incoming server setup. Just so everything is known to be good.

Those are legacy settings. The correct server host names should be:
Incoming server host name: mail.talktalk.net
Outgoing server host name: smtp.talktalk.net
Untick automatically manage connection settings and screenshot again so I can see the detailed server setups.
