DMARC problem when sending mails

Hi, I have a DMARC issue when sending some mails.

For example, using my desktop email client if I send a mail to myself I get this bounce back -

@dsl.pipex.com>: host mx.talktalk.net[62.24.202.42] said: 552 5.2.0
    7b7atSh5sCVZF7b7at7by3 DMARC Verification Failed (TT602) (in reply to end
    of DATA command)

I have previously contacted my mail forwarder about this and they said that it's a known talktalk issue and that I need to contact their tech support. At that moment, I gave up, as you do 🙂 But with all the recent DMARC issues that I've seen people having I thought I'd raise my issue also, it would be nice to have another talktalk issue fixed if possible.

Thank you.

I have a similar problem and chatted to Andy about it a day or two ago. No resolution yet. I like the comments that it is a know issue and that your case, pbar100, has been escalated. Hoping for resolution soon.

The team are eager to fix any problem they can find, they're just not seeing one in this case. If you can give me the email address that's affected and isn't being forwarded we can get it sorted for you.

I can only say that whoever told you that is simply wrong, or making it up, perhaps having a laugh who knows. I wouldn't worry about it, I think we all know it won't get resolved, I can continue to use alternatives.

You've been there some years now haven't you Ady. Soon be getting your gold clock.

All the best.

I'm passing on what our email admins have passed onto me. I'm guessing that they checked the error message and identified an issue from that. I'll pass your comments back to them.

Hi Ady, what a bizarre thing to say. But anyway yes of course I'm sending from talk talk servers, using the recommended settings. Thanks.

Hi pbar100, the email team have said you need to be sending from the TalkTalk email servers. Currently it seems you aren't.

Email Settings can be found in the Email Settings Help Article.

Hi @pbar100 your post has been escalated, no guarantee when you will get a resolution.

I don't work here and all my opinions are my own.
