Deleted Thunderbird profile when trying to change server settings as per recent email from talktalk

Hi,

 

Can anyone help with this as I have deleted my thunderbird inbox etc with all my emails in. I think it is backed up as was on POP3 but unable to restore this. I tried to copy new settings from talk talk email but wasn't getting anywhere. Happy to send screenshots

Did you backup your emails to a local folder on your device or did your POP3 email account in Thunderbird leave mail on the server? Have you looked at the mailbox via an Internet browser?

 

Select here: Sign in to TalkTalk Mail

Enter your full TalkTalk Mail email address and password, select Sign in.

 

Do you wish to keep the email account in Thunderbird as a POP3 account and therefore just need the POP3 secure settings?

I would look to your backups as POP3 normally saves emails to the PC, unlike IMAP which saves them on the server.
