Do talktalk plus subscribers need to transition to EveryMail ?

I am a legacy tiscali.co.uk user that paid for Talktalk plus service to retain my email

when I cancelled my broadband. This has worked fine for over a year.

I now have inability to send emails from my account, either via thunderbird or webmail.

This sounds like the behaviour described on the FAQs as someone who has not transitioned

to EveryMail. There is also a FAQ that says Talktalk Plus users do not have to transition to

EveryMail. If I have to transition to EveryMail how do I do itas I have received no notification

to do it? Thanks DJD45299

As you have mentioned that you had lost the ability to use your emails using our webmail services and had advised to please check your private messages, I wanted you to confirm the email you have advised it is being paid for via mail plus because the emails linked to the account and disconnected are not MailPlus accounts you still had access to the emails as they do not  cease together with the account.

I do not seem to be fully transitioned as my address book has not been migrated, it is empty,

Also the on-line FAQs on everymail do not seem appropriate as when I login I get a facsimile

of the WebMail interface. It also talks of subscriptions, but the TalkTalk FAQ says that TalkTalk plus users

do not have to pay extra ?

If you have been transitioned to EveryMail to get the help you need and answers, please visit EveryMail Support (https://everymail.com/support).

OK, I just tried logging in to EveryMail using my TalkTalk/Tiscali login details and it worked.

I can send message from there fine, so I guess it is a problem from using Webmail/Thunderbird from

within my TalkTalk account. Possibly due to the transition period ?

What do I need to do to make Thunderbird talk to the EveryMail version of the mail ?

Yes, I can receive emails as usual, it is just the send messages that fail.

Just to confirm, you are unable to send messages, but you can receive?

No, I did for many years ( hence the tiscali part ), but when I cancelled the broadband

link I paid to retain my email address.
