When I or my husband send an email it, on some occasions, is going into the recipients spam folder, unfortunately I do not know whether it has or not. This has created problems when the mail I am replying to is important.

Even when the recipient marks the first mail ‘not spam’ the next still goes into the spam folder.

anyone help me please?

Janice

How are you sending mail? Via Webmail or using a third party program such as Outlook or Thunderbird? If the latter try a few test mails using Webmail to see if this improves the situation. TalkTalk will only be able to help, normally, if the issue is within Webmail.

Also does this occur when you are using TalkTalk internet or does it occur when using third party hotspots, or a combination of both.

If it's when using the TalkTalk internet it may be that the recipients mail has identified your IP address as compromised.

Try turing your router and ONT box (if full fibre) for at least 30 minutes to establish a new session and try again.

If the situation persists, unfortunately, support staff are no longer available here and this will require you contact TalkTalk directly as the forum is now peer to peer and this is something we are, on this occasion, unable to help you with if the above does not work.
Please see the link in my signature for ways to contact TalkTalk.

From the 29th of March our TalkTalk Community will move to peer-to-peer support and the TalkTalk team will no longer be here to support with queries. Don’t worry we still have plenty of ways to reach out if you need to speak to TalkTalk directly. For more details check out the link here: How to contact TalkTalk Broadband - Help & Support.
