Is there any way to delete my email address and get a new one to thwart these Chinese scum making my life hell. So far it's been LinkedIn and eBay.

If your tiscali mailbox has been compromised then upgrading the password is essential after scanning your devices to remove any potential password capturing virus, trojan or other malware.

The Reset password now button in the help article  Changing your email password will take you to password reset and recovery.

If you have set up password recovery options, in advance, that you recognise from the *****hints, then you can send your alternate email address a link or your mobile a 6-digit code to authorise a password reset.

Requesting deletion of the email address is as stated previously.

If you want to switch ISP then do so.  A new provider will probably not offer you an email address because so many have ceased to provide email to new customers. So, you'll need to consider a free or paid for email address from any of the many non-ISP email service providers. e.g. Gmail, Yahoo Mail, Outlook.com etc.

I've now had a ransomware email from the hacker and have been franticly changing important email address and password away from tiscali.co.uk as they have my email and old password. Maybe time to change ISP.

Hi @Porcia

Sorry to see your email address / mailbox has been compromised.

User deletion of mailbox email addresses is not currently possible but you can give instructions for mailbox deletion to the TalkTalk Data Protection Office team.

See the GDPR help page item  'Your Right to be Forgotten / Right to Erasure '. There's a postal address, which in my view is the best way to contact the Data Protection team, but you can initiate a contact via any of the TalkTalk contact methods.
