My email has suddenly stopped working with iOS mail. I’m running the latest version. It fails with a AUTHENTICATIONFAILED message. 
It’s an old email address I’ve had for years and I would like to continue to access it as I always have. 
I’ve tried adding it as a new account, I’ve changed the password etc but I can only get in to it via webmail which is rubbish

@LeeShep, I have removed your email address from public display in the thread. 

 

Please complete your community forum profile details. You access that area by going via your avatar; settings. Add your Talktalk phone number or account number in Personal Information. Further down that area, in PRIVATE NOTES add the email address that currently has problems. SAVE CHANGES.

Please never display personal information details in the public thread.  There's an area in Private Notes, further down from Personal Information in the community profile where you can put thus sort of thing. Thanks

Yes. It’s the mail app in iOS. It worked fine for years and now it’s suddenly not working for my talktalk email address. It fails with an authentication error. The same app works just fine for iCloud, gmail etc. my email is XXXXX REMOVED FOR SECURITY REASONS. Can you please allow app access to it again.
