Hi  there, I wonder if you can help. I have been trying to e-mail my brother in Australia recently but they are coming back as undeliverable.    It is only this one, I am getting all my other e-mails and receiving.  I do get his e-mail to me.  I have sent the main message for the last attempt but have others each time.but it is quoting my and my brothers e-mail so have deleted this. I will forward if necessary to get this hopefully resolved. I don't know how to get to the postmaster.

This is the mail system at host mx-out.tt.xion.oxcs.net.

I'm sorry to have to inform you that your message could not
be delivered to one or more recipients. It's attached below.

For further assistance, please send mail to postmaster.

If you do so, please include this problem report. You can
delete your own text from the attached returned message.

Hi Diane, I had raised an incident to alert the teams to the issues with our mail being rejected.

Hi Ady,

Well it does seem to be working now. Let's keep our fingers crossed.  Are the other people on the forum with the same problem ok now also?

Was it you (talktalk)who managed to fix this or is it a coincidence?

Thank you very much to whoever it was.

Hi Diane, this issue isn't with Oz its with the mail domain rejecting TalkTalk mails as spam.

Thank you ferguson, you're a star!  It seems another poster is having the same problem with his email to Oz! Will be interesting.

@HovisB, you need to start your own thread, as previously advised by staff on another customer's thread.

This is to avoid any possible confusion.

Please return to the message board and click on start a topic to begin your own thread.

I'm getting this problem at the beginning of 2025: after receiving a message from a Bigpond mail address any reply is bounced back.  Before Xmas I could email OK. I can respond through Gmail but not through Talktalk mail channel. What have the folks at Bigpond got against Talktalk?  Is it that they have received a lot of spam from Talktalk accounts in the past? Was it the volume of Xmas mail between UK and Australian friends and family confused them into thinking it was a Spam attack? How was it cleared before? How long did it take?  Hope someone from Talktalk reads this post, they seemed oblivious to the issue when I contacted the help team.

I have re-escalated this for you. The support team aren't here over the weekend and the extended holiday period means that it is taking a little longer than usual for them to respond.

I would assume the postmaster it is referring to is that of mx-out.tt.xion.oxcs.net. So, postmaster@mx-out.tt.xion.oxcs.net

(mx-out.tt.xion.oxcs.net appears to be some sort of agency that deals with TalkTalk Email)
