Emails To Yahoo Address Bouncing

Message 127 of 127

Last  few days having problems sending emails from my Pipex email address to a relative with a Yahoo address. Keep getting the following response from mailer-daemon@talktalk.net that delivery failed.

This is an automatically generated Delivery Status Notification.
Delivery to the following recipients was aborted after 13.9 hour(s):
xxxxx@yahoo.co.uk

Reason: The following message to xxxxx@yahoo.co.uk was undeliverable. The reason for the problem:  Maximum Retry Queue Age Reached

I see other threads on this forum with the same problem sending to other domains (eg. Sky) and wonder whether there is a wider issue extending to Yahoo too ?

Can anything be done about the reported failures to generic/company addresses?

What can be done about the generic/company addresses with are failing, is that even something which you can fix?

Hi CrazyOtto, the fix was put in place last Wednesday and I'm told we've now requested that all the ISPs who are blocking us lift the limitations. Traffic is seen going to all, but Yahoo are still limiting the amount of traffic.

Ady, could someone please fix this problem?  It has been going on for months now.  I very much suspect that it is a case of deliberate neglect by TT, in the hope that Pipex users will just abandon their Pipex addresses and move to TT.

A message I sent to a Yahoo address at 0621 on Friday 12 has still not arrived.  Another sent to the same address at 0704 this morning arrived, but went into the Bulk Mail folder.

I have successfully sent emails to Yahoo and Gmail addresses, as of yesterday. Thanks for sticking with us, and keeping us updated, much appreciated.

It could take several days for the server reputation to be rebuild. I'm hoping you won't have to wait too long.

@Ady-TalkTalk I have seen the news of the 'fix' you posted on other threads and tested Yahoo earlier but nothing got through yet.

Thanks for letting me know. I don't need anymore confirmations of what's affected. I am however expecting to have very good news for you later today.

As you probably know already, this is occurring to any "aol" or "yahoo" address I try to send to from my Pipex account ...

Logged it on the other parallel thread on this subject

Hi all, I'm hoping for news today until I've got something to tell you it's unlikely that things will change for you. I will let you know as soon as I have something to post.

I sent an email yesterday afternoon to a Hotmail account, and it bounced 😞

@Ady-TalkTalk  Yahoo, AOL, Hotmail & Gmail are the domains I am aware of. There may of course be others too that I as yet do not know about.
