I have logged in because I am having a lot of problems with emails not being received by other people, and a lot of people telling me that their emails to me are being bounced back. I tried to post a query yesterday, but may have made a mistake, as I cannot see it in "recent Posts". Apologies if I am duplicating it.
My problem seems to be the same as a lot of other Tiscali customers are reporting. People are telling me that they are getting a non-delivery message as follows
"The MX host does not match any MX allowed by the STS policy. For more information, go to https://support.google.com/a/answer/9261504"
I am using Thunderbird and my email address has an ...@tiscali.co.uk The affected correspondents are with Outlook, Yahoo and GMail. I have tried test messages between my actual Tiscali email, the webmail one and my separate Gmail account. I am getting failures both on receiving email and sending email.
Recent posts seem to imply that the problem has been solved, but I am still having problems this morning. This is causing serious problems for me as I am a committee member in several clubs and it is preventing urgent club business from progressing. I cannot be sure if any email or reply that I send gets through.

My email addresses seem to be receiving but I can't send through any of them.
It was better yesterday Tuesday afternoon now it seems all bad again Wednesday afternoon.

Hi Neil, its very unlikely that those mails will be delivered now the server backlog will have been cleared yesterday.

Thank you for responding. As far as I can tell, I now seem to have re-established communications to those people that had told me that they were having problems with my emails. However, I can only be sure of those people who had contacted me by social media. I don't know if anyone else had problems, but hadn't been able to let me know. Is it possible that the server will now deliver emails that had previously been blocked?
It is worrying. I had a similar issue with my Tiscali email, in December 2023, which took nearly a month to resolve. To have it happen again is an uncomfortable experience, when I rely on email for club business.
