Emails not arriving

For the last few weeks, I have been noticing that a lot of emails are not arriving. My situation is slightly different from others with similar problems, so I thought I would add my voice to the conversation.

 

I own a domain name and have email forwarding set up so I can give a consistent email to people while retaining the ability to change the underlying mail box. Currently I have this forwarding to both my gmail and TalkTalk mailboxes. I added gmail as a backup due to TalkTalk email delivery problems a couple of years ago. Until recently the emails to the TalkTalk inbox seem to have been coming in fine.

 

Recently, I am seeing that between half and a third of emails never make it to my TalkTalk inbox. Some are marked as spam, which I keep un-marking in the hopes the algorithm might get the idea, but a large number of important emails never arrive or are delayed.

 

In my case, I can just look at my gmail inbox, but it does illustrate how broken TalkTalk email is currently. Is there an estimated timeline for this getting sorted out?

Hi, yes - if I send a test email from my work account, it arrives fine if sent directly. Still waiting for the forwarded email in TalkTalk which has arrived fine in gmail. Note that I have had this set-up for some time and it has worked well for a while. It is only recently that I have noticed things going missing.
