Hundreds of inboxes showing up

Hi,

when I look at my talktalk email account it shows hundreds of folders with names like INBOX 111.11111 etc... there are also hundreds of junk mail, drafts, sent and trash folders with the same numbers after them. They dont appear on my older Tiscali email accounts, but they do show up on my phone email as well. Theys been there for a very long time and I'm finally fed up with them and want to know if there is any way of deleting them, without doing it one by one - there are just so many, and i swear they increase incrementally all the time!

any help appreciated.

Hi John, when did you last reset the password for the mailbox? If not recently please reset it to something previously unused for this mailbox.

Thanks for your response Bill. Yes, the folders show up on webmail as well and they are all empty. They’ve been there so long I can’t remember when it started. It’s not really a problem, just can’t understand why it happens!

Is it showing hundreds of INBOX folders even when you use TalkTalk Webmail?

And do they all have the same emails within them? Or are some of them empty?

Whatever, I think you will have to delete each of them separately.
