I can only get my email via webmail

Hi there team,

For about 6 months now, I have only been able to access my Tiscali / Talk Talk email via webmail.  

When I try to use a windows device or phone, using the config settings from the webmail client itself, it tells me the password failed but the password for webmail and in the email clients are one and the same.

I am aware Talktalk aren't supporting email anymore. For this reason I have switched to a new provider and have an auto-forward set up from my tiscali account.  But what I do need is a one-off ability to be able to access my Tiscali email to download the 20,000+ messages I have there onto a different platform so that they remain accessible, which I cannot seem to do from webmail.

Grateful if TalkTalk Support Team can please try the following:
* reactivate the IMAP access

* verify account status

* reset credentials or security settings

TalkTalk do support email, if you are first a TalkTalk broadband customer.

Since you have switched to a new provider., your current access to your previous TalkTalk email addresses could be limited, and your email addresses could be fully deleted in the future.

Since you currently still have access to your TalkTalk email address/es via TalkTalk webmail, you should download all your emails to your computer.

To download all your emails to your computer:

For each folder in each of your TalkTalk email addresses, do the following, in TalkTalk webmail:

click the folder --> click the 3-dot button --> click 'Select all messages' --> in the other 3-dot button that appears, click 'Save as file'

--> all your emails in that folder will be downloaded to a file called 'mail.zip' in your computer's download folder,

the emails in mail.zip being listed in alphabetical order of the subjects of the emails (which is not ideal).

Alternatively, you can try migrating your TalkTalk email addresses to Everymail.com, where they will operate in the same way as they do in TalkTalk.
