If i uninstall my talktalk email account and then reinstall it will i lose my saved messages.

My emails are very slow to download most of the time but at other times they are as fast as they used to be.

It depends on your email client and if you are using POP or IMAP.

 

If IMAP, then the folders and mail will replicate as copies are stored in you account until you delete them.

 

If you are using POP then they are downloaded to your email client and deleted off the server, so uninstalling you may also find they are deleted unless you have saved them to your PC or device. There may be an export mail function in your email client,

 

Sometimes emails do take a while to download depending on number or size. Deleting and reinstalling it may not therefore show any improvement.
