Can anyone explain why my incoming messages have suddenly started arriving in my draft folder and better still tell me how to get them arriving in my inbox where they should be.

Hi there @Tansea, I am pleased to say that this has now been resolved for you, there was a rule on your emails which directed all your incoming mail into drafts, this has now been removed, and your emails will no longer go into your draft folder. Once again, I am really sorry that you've experienced this, thank you for contacting us and please reach out should you need anything else.

All had been well before my email address was subject to a major hacking event whereby all my contacts received a series of scam emails from an unknown source using my address.. I involved the TalkTalk team and during the following process all my folders were emptied out including my inbox. My inbox was therefore empty and since then all my incoming mails have arrived in my draft folder. I have not received any conclusion from TalkTalk in regard to the hacking problem and the only positive action taken is that I have changed my password.

@Tansea, could you double check if your Inbox mail space is full or not as this normally occurs should there be not enough space. Meaning so, if your Inbox folder is full, other incoming mails will be re-directed to other folders such as Spam or draft.
