Hi
I have 5 old dsl.pipex.com addresses that I still use. When I migrated to fibre 3 years ago, a techie moved these over for me and they've been working fine. Now, when I log on to any of them via Webmail, I see the warning, "Don’t Wait - Subscribe to Everymail by 28 July or you’ll lose the ability to send emails".
This support page says I should not need to do this:- https://community.talktalk.co.uk/t5/Articles/About-TalkTalk-Mail-Plus/ta-p/2374203
The page tells me to add my mail addresses to the list of mailboxes but the link to do that results in a 'Ooops' page...
Today, one of the accounts received an email telling me I really did need to move.
Can someone help resolve this please? One of the accounts is used for my business and another is my busy personal account. The other 3 are used to a lesser degree but still important! Thanks.

@fmob22, we do apologise for any difficulties caused. Since you are currently an active broadband client of ours, I will further escalate this matter to our email team as this communication will stop. I also noticed that our team was able to further assist you by linking the emails you wished to link to your account 🙂

@fmob22, I have edited out most of the account number. Please never reveal complete details in the public thread.
Staff will have finished for the day, so I am afraid that there will be further delay.

Hi @kanya-TT and @Philile-TT . Any update on this please?
I’m still getting the ‘Don’t Wait - Subscribe to Everymail by 28 July or you’ll lose the ability to send emails’ message every time I log on to webmail…
Has anybody looked into my suggestion that this issue may stem from these 5 email addresses possibly still being associated with my long cancelled ADSL account number ending .....65? I’ve a hunch that’s the problem here.
I’m currently in the midst of a house sale and one of my 5 addresses is used to communicate with my solicitor. I can’t have email issues with exchange and completion nearing, hence me chasing this up before the 28 July deadline. Any updates much appreciated.

@fmob22 I have had a look into your account and all 5 emails that you had confirmed are linked to the active broadband account, this means you have received communication that you should not have as you do not fall under the customers that will be impacted. I will escalate this so that you do not receive any further comms.

After exchanging private messages, I had a realisation that complicates my issue and makes the solution of adding my old addresses to my fibre account unlikely to work.
I used to be on ADSL broadband. Let’s say my contact email address for that was contact1. When I moved house, I had to switch to fibre65 and was given a new account. That was set up with a different address, contact2. As I said in my first message, a techie helped moved my old dsl.pipex.com addresses to the new account.
The email I received yesterday entitled ‘Important reminder to sign up to Everymail’ was sent to contact1, the address for my old account!
Rather than add the addresses to my fibre account (which I suspect you’ll have found unnecessary), I think they need to be removed from the old account if they are to still work after the email transition.

OK. I'm a bit rusty with the community... how do I get to my private messages. I have had a look around but not found it so far, sorry!

Great, thanks, just let me know what you need me to do.

Hey there, @fmob22. We will need to help you link those emails because you have an active broadband with us.
