Please link my email account to my broadband account so I am not charged £50 for my everymail access. I cannot send email without apparently subscribing and paying. My account number is 101********

Thank you for the support @Gliwmaeden2 .

@CaroleE1 As you have an active broadband account with us, you do not have to subscribe to Everymail and pay for the Email service. I have completed a form for you so that the Email address can be linked to your broadband account. It should be resolved within 48 working hours.

You must not subscribe if you are a current Broadband customer with Talktalk, @CaroleE1.

Staff do not know the exact schedule for resolution of this issue.

@CaroleE1, if you want to call in on 03451 720088 after 9am, you will just be starting the process all over again.

These are separate teams, and even though notes may be made on your account etc, you might as well keep following up in this thread, with a written record of what's going on.

There seems to be no quick system fix for the situation that Talktalk has got itself into over addresses that should remain free and functioning for customers who currently have Talktalk broadband but legacy email addresses.

They are slowly being resolved but at an individual, manual level of processing.

Gliwmaeden2, a fellow customer.

Can we speak to someone about this when we are together tomorrow. This  is going on far too long and I want to get it sorted. What number can we call to speak to someone.

Yes she can. Her blueyonder email is linked to this account as I had to have a secondary email. This was set up when my husband passed away last year and we moved the TalkTalk account to my name. My daughter has authorised access.

Thank you for this. Can you double check on your end if the daughter is accessing your emails via Webmail?

On my mail app on my phone. My daughter also helped me log in on the web. I’m 82 and finding this all very complicated and confusing. My daughter is trying to help but I just need this sorted.

Since I took out the free trial I have been able to send and receive email, but am concerned this will stop at the end of the free trial month.

As already mentioned, I cancelled the auto renewal as I don’t want to be charged the £50 as I am a talktalk broadband customer.

I am seeking reassurance that my broadband and email accounts are linked properly, that I will not be charged the £50 and my email will continue to work properly.

Additionally I have received an email from Royal Mail saying that I am to expect a TalkTalk delivery tomorrow. Please can you confirm what this delivery is?

thank you

Yes, I have been told I need a subscription and to pay £50 a year to send e-mail. But I thought as a broadband customer this was free. Tried to talk to customer service but they just sent me to the email provider who were not helpful.
