Hi, my mails have been fine for ages but in the last few days some are now randomly not being received. Strangely some are also arriving very late, like the day after. Like they're being deferred or something. This is with my dsl.pipex.com address. Please could you take a look for me, turn it off and on again or something. Thank you very much.

Hi, just thought I'd update this as it has been a while. The issue has been much better of late, the late/deferred (sometimes as late as a day or two) incoming mails have stopped now so that's good. The spam filter, although better, is still a little over zealous, but we can cope with that of course. The occasional incoming mail is still not being received, but that has also been much better. So, whatever the tech staff have done so far has greatly improved the situation. Just thought I'd offer the feedback. Hopefully with a few more little tweaks it'll be back as it was soon. Thanks.

Thank you Ady, to know that it's a recognised Talktalk issue and also the reason for it happening is very calming and appreciated. Really hope it's something which can be fixed.

No worries, sorry there's not more I can do. It would make my life much easier if the team could get a grip, but since we handed control of AntiVirus and Spam to OpenXchange who provide the platform we've seen a huge increase in hacked accounts and spam as a result.

Thank you Ady, with it being a recognised Talktalk problem and it's being worked on then fine. There's been no change as yet, incoming mails which had no issues before are still either not being received, are arriving up to a day late, or appearing as spam. Cheers.

There's no timescale at present as the situation changes daily based on the new challenges presenting themselves.

Hi Ady, thanks for your reply and honesty, appreciate it. The issue has persisted over the past few days, I am still not receiving numerous mails (though they have been sent to me) or bizarrely arriving in my inbox up to a day late. A certain amount are appearing in spam although they never used to. Talktalk mail has been fine for ages before this recent problem. Is there any timescale for a resolve please. Thank you for your help so far.

Hi pbar100, it seems the team are struggling to keep the spam under control. It's always worth resetting the password for the mailbox to one that's never been used before, that will keep your mailbox safe.
