My TalkTalk email account has been hacked

Numerous emails have been sent to some of the contacts in my Outlook address book claiming to be from me.

 

I have changed my TalkTalk password and scanned my laptop for viruses. Do I need to do anything else?

Did you check for mail forwards that would do this?

Also, my TalkTalk email account does not appear to be working properly. I am not receiving legitimate emails. A test email that I sent to my email address is visible in my Sent folder but has not been received in my Inbox.

Hi Eddie4419, you should also check for mail diverts that may have been put in place to send your mail elsewhere. You can do this in webmail. If you haven't already run a malware scan too. The scans should be run on every internet connected device you have.
