@jncape just to confirm you have now regained access into your emails and changed the rules?

Thanks. I changed my password and checked under Rules - and found that all my incoming email was being redirected. I've deleted that rule and all appears to be OK. No malware etc detected.

Contacts have been notified....in fact, it was only through responses from contacts that I realised I'd been hacked. The hacker didn't provide very 'realistic' scamming emails, and was quickly detected.

Yes to check if there is any keyloggers, notify your contacts that your email was compromised, as they might receive phishing emails from your account.

@jncape, also run malwarebytes and / or antivirus checks on all your devices.

Gliwmaeden2, a fellow customer.

From the 29th of March our TalkTalk Community will move to peer-to-peer support and the TalkTalk team will no longer be here to support with queries. Don’t worry we still have plenty of ways to reach out if you need to speak to TalkTalk directly. For more details check out the link in the post at the top of any forum message board.

Check for Suspicious Activity

  • Review your sent items and folders for any emails you didn’t send.
  • Look for any changes in your account settings or recovery options.
