Need RCPT command error

My internet connection is fine and I can receive emails with TalkTalk webmail  but I cannot send or reply to received emails. I get a '503 5.5.1 Error need RCPT command'  and if I try again a '503 5.7.1 Reject for policy reason'  I have now spent nearly 3 hours with help and support trying things but the problem remains. I'm exhausted and wonder does anyone know where this problem may suddenly have appeared from  and has anyone had this problem and had it resolved ?  Technical support appear to be floundering  and I'm insufficiently adept with systems to know what I'm doing if I make adjustments.

It sometimes seems to happen if the server misinterprets what you are trying to send as Spam, @mrf3049.

The forum search engine will take you to threads on this topic - select the "forums" option or you won't get many answers. I typed in the number of the error message to see what came up.

Unfortunately staff are not back on here to offer support before Monday, @mrf3049.

Gliwmaeden2, a fellow customer.

From the 29th of March our TalkTalk Community will move to peer-to-peer support and the TalkTalk team will no longer be here to support with queries. Don’t worry we still have plenty of ways to reach out if you need to speak to TalkTalk directly. For more details check out the link in the post at the top of any forum message board.
