I was migrated over to Talktalk from Shell Energy where I was on a 200 mbps contract. When Talktalk took over they put me on the Fibre500 contract as they didn’t do the lower one, this was an upgrade at no extra cost to me. I’m still only getting 200 mbps download speed, so I contacted the help line to see why. The first and second times I called I was told it would take a while to transfer over and by early October I should get the faster download speed. I called again yesterday as it was still slow, but this time I was told I would only get the 200mbps download speed as I wasn’t paying full price, but this discount was down to Talktalk, obviously I wasn’t happy with that and asked her to talk to her manager and get back to me but no return call.
