Not receiving all my emails in Talktalk Webmail

Since at least Friday I haven't been receiving all my e-mails. I have a Tiscali email address. The problem affects @gmail.com but also others as well.

 

I have spent three long, unproductive sessions on Talktalk help Chat, cut off on the first two!

 

The latest chat has said "No, tiscali is not yet supported by Talktalk, but in order for this to operate you need to update a new email address and link your tiscali email to your new email in order to get back your email service."

 

Is anyone able to to confirm that this is really the only solution to this problem please

Still not working for latest emails. It takes 30 to 60 mins for them to eventually appear (even though showing they are there - push mail still works though).

Me too. The latest emails sit in the inbox but are not readable. Yet the push mail to my iphone works fine.

I have just received a test @Gamil.cm email that I sent a few minutes ago so it appears to be working now. Earlier messages have still not been received.

Still not receiving anything even through the update at 13.31 said everything is now resolved. Will I receive the backlogged emails as well as I have multiple Clients telling me they have sent several emails to me and are getting the MX host response and delivery imcomplete. I really need these emails asap

It is now 13.18hrs and I still haven't received the missing emails - I have run tests through my Google mail and they haven't come through. How long will it take for this to be fully resolved as I run a business which relies on these emails coming through?

Hello,

 

Latest update: 10:53am 11th November 2024

 

Our engineers have fixed this issue and all impacted customers will start to see their email service working as it should. There may still be a delay in this as the email service fully resolves and we will continue to monitor this. We'd like to apologise for any inconvenience caused during this time.

My husband has just sent me a test email from a Gmail account. It has not been received by my webmail or into my laptop/phone. So, whilst SOME messages seem to be making it through... NOT ALL are. The problem is NOT fully resolved.

I’m having the same issue. 4 people have now told me they have sent emails which I have not received. I sent a test from my gmail account and it hasn’t come through. I am getting some emails and not others. As I rely on email communication for my business this is beyond frustrating

There is a very specific fault in the interface between tiscali.co.uk and the rest of the email world, which means emails originating from Microsoft or Google based email services is not getting through to addresses on tiscali.co.uk. There are now upwards of two dozen individual user reports here in the community, and I spent an hour using online chat on Saturday morning to report the fault to Talktalk. We can only hope that when one of the Talktalk staff arrives on the Community on Monday morning, someone will start getting it fixed.

I'm having the same problem with my Tiscali email address. Not showing in TalkTalk webmail and nothing is getting through to my inbox except for emails sent to myself using the same Tiscali address.

I too am not receiving emails apart from ones from M & S. None from gmail or hotmail. In fact I know people who have sent me an email and I've not received them and most of them have not bounced back to sender. So annoying. I spent most of yesterday afternoon and some of Friday speaking to adviser but getting nowhere. Having read more than one having the same problem on here I wish talktalk would email us with a simple explanation that they have a problem and are working on it.
