Hi
I am having issues sending e mails today using my EE data, i can receive emails and access the internet.
Sending using WiFi is ok.
Advice please

Just a glitch in the phone's Gmail app then, when using mobile data. My guess would be that mobile data was disabled. The standard fix of deleting and adding the account afresh cleared that glitch. A useful reminder to try that fix if nothing else clears an unusual issue.

Problem sorted after speaking to EE
Deleted my e mail account and re entered the details and now working 🙂 sooooo happy

Hi everyone,
I have just tried again with my SIM off and just using my work SIM still not working
Put my SIM in my other phone hey presto it works.
So maybe time to reset the email but why does it work on WiFi with the current settings IMAP?

OK, if it just says queued and there's no other send error message coming up and sending via EE Mobile has worked previously then it's likely just a temporary glitch.
In the Gmail app settings, select the TalkTalk account and untick Sync email for this account, power off the phone, wait a minute, power on and re-tick Sync email for this account and then see if the Outbox starts to empty.

Hi It is a Samsung S22+ with the g mail app.
The error message in the outbox is Queued next to the message.
I have tried to refresh several times but still the same queued message after attempting to send.
It is 587 STARTTLS connection security.
It is my normal TT account and no settings have been altered, i can send emails if i turn WiFi on and mobile data saver is off.

What's the phone model and the email app? And what's the error on sending?
Are you receiving and sending from the same TalkTalk Mail account? And using the secure outgoing port 587 with TLS or STARTTLS connection security and outgoing authentication by Username (full TalkTalk email address) and password?
Have you checked the app's Data Usage settings to see if Mobile Data Saver is switched on?
