Phishing emails to me but from my email address

I am getting fishing emails to my email address but when I click on the sender it's from my email address how do I stop this and have I been compromised?

There's a difference between a compromised mailbox password and email spoofing which is what's happening to your email address.

Hi @Crappyservice I doubt you have been compromised but your address has made its way onto someone's list. As a precaution you could change your email password?  https://community.talktalk.co.uk/t5/Articles/Changing-your-email-password/ta-p/2556067 should help.
