Ask us about your TalkTalk email account and Webmail.

Hi there,
When attempting to locate a specific email by entering details in the search box, this works successfully but clicking on an individual match has the effect of triggering a phantom new message in the Inbox, denoted by the red circular marker above that folder.
After a refresh, the outcome is that there are no new emails after all.
So frustrating that it cannot be rectified as it is a known fault, at least to TT webmail users.
If possible, please report again to the IT department or email product manager for investigation.
Many thanks,
Andy

Morning Mandisa,
I have now had the opportunity to download Google Chrome to see if that made any difference when accessing TT webmail for a particular message. Incidentally, there was a note from Microsoft Edge prior to the download stating their browser uses the same technology as Google Chrome.
Unfortunately, the result was exactly the same as before.
At this stage, I think we can say the most common reasons for this glitch have been explored from my end with your assistance, which is appreciated.
Please pass on this latest information about the browsers tried to the relevant department. The hope will be that my 'real world' user experience will carry some weight when formulating a suitable fix.

Morning Mandisa,
I can try Google Chrome but it doesn't change the fact that there is an outstanding issue which needs to be investigated, as it is occurring on the other two browsers. Have you reported the problem to the relevant department?
Kind regards,
Andy
