I am receiving emails being sent but they are not appearing in my inbox at all.

I can't see them on the laptop through Outlook, but if I log onto webmail whilst they still aren't appearing in inbox I can find them all within the saved im folder.

I am assuming there is a rule or filter or something going on to auto move them all there but can't see where under settings on webmail it could be?  There is nothing I can see under rules or under the reading settings.

Any help on where to look or how to find the rule or whatever else could be doing this much appreciated

  1. In the email, click the more actions icon and select "Create filter rule" from the dropdown menu
  2. Enter a name for your rule and click "Add condition". You can choose to filter your email based on sent email address, subject, size, header, date and many others
  3. Click "Add action" to decide what you want to do with your email. You can file, copy or redirect it to another folder along with many other options
  4. Then click "Save and apply rule now"

You can also use the steps above, hope they help. Thanks 😇

Hi, @DadBrad

The  'im folder' is not a standard TalkTalk webmail folder. I've never heard of it before.

Is that a folder you created for a special purpose?

All possible filters in Talk webmail will be found here, under 'Rules':

Click the cogwheel --> Click 'All settings' --> Scroll down --> Click 'Rules'
