Suddenly can't send messages via Thunderbird or Webmail but can receive mail.

Was working recently , not sure when it stopped as I get mail everyday.

@DJD45299, let's start by double checking on the basics. If I may kindly ask, which browser are you currently using to accessing your emails at the moment? This could be Google Chrome, Safari, FireFox etc..

I now cannot login to my talktalk account using my email username I can only login here using the community user name.

Is this because I am a TalkTalk plus user? I am also not able to use the TalkTalk plus app as I do not own a smartphone.

No ,  I just have my old tiscali.co.uk email account , I pay an annual fee to keep it current.

Thunderbird puts up an error box which states ......

Sending of the message failed.
An error occurred while sending mail.

The mail server responded: Reject for policy reason.

Please check the message and try again.

It does this with different recipients and different text.

Thunderbird gives an error message box stating "Sending of the message failed.
An error occurred while sending mail. The mail server responded: Reject for policy reason. Please check the message and try again."

The server gives an error message saying something has gone wrong using webmail.

Thunderbird says server replies with an error, nothing specific.
