My tiscali.co.uk inbox is not receiving emails sent from other tiscali.co.uk email addresses. This is happening on webmail, Windows & Android mail receipients. Not altered any settings. Is this a platform wide problem ?

@PAJ333 has already 'whitelisted' the relevant email addresses
Please don't confuse the issue.
Also in TakTalk webmail, it is NOT called 'whitelisting'. It is called 'allowlisting'
It is in fact one of the few controls that works.
For some other things, one might have to wait months or years to be fixed by TalkTalk.
EDIT: If one is using Gmail webmail, the same issue is not dealt with 'whitelisting' nor 'allowlisting',
but with a so-called filter, called 'Never send it to Spam'
In the free version of Microsoft Outlook, 'Outlook for Windows', one can't do any sort of email filtering.
I think it wants one to pay for Outlook 365, first.

Can you please whitelist your emails and see if that works.

Still going onto spam if remove friends and family tiscal.co.uk email addresses from access list
on 24-02-2026 08:47 AM
Can we actually just test if this is still happening if that will be possible?

That's wonderful, I say we monitor and see if the issue persists. I'll be here if anything happens so we can run diagnostics if needed.

Thanks. Its mainly tiscali.co.uk emails from friends and family. Followed Billx advice and added to access list.

Hi there @PAJ333, will need to run checks on that. Is this happening with all domains or a specific domain?
on 23-02-2026 10:29 PM
@Heatherjacko, it really does cause confusion if you post "me too" on other people's threads.
For all issues affecting yourself, please return to the appropriate message board [see "help with your service" in the forum menu] and click on start a topic to begin your own thread.
Staff only respond to the original poster of the topic and it can muddle the thread if you hop onto the other customer's support issue.

Mine too plus others from
Quidco both saying it’s an issue with the other
on 22-02-2026 09:32 PM
OK, @PAJ333
on 22-02-2026 09:31 PM
Its only a few so followed your advice. Thanks for that Billx

You haven't said how many incoming tiscali.co.uk email addresses are behaving like that, and going to your Spam folder.
If it's only a couple or so, you can do the following for each of them:
TalkTalk webmail --> Cog --> All Settings --> Mail --> Access Lists --> Allowlist
--> click 'Add new address' --> in the text box, enter the email address --> click 'Add'
This will force those email addresses into your Inbox folder.

OK, I was thinking about the original poster's topic rather than others.

Gliwmaeden2 normally uses a Gmail account, and was talking about emails from Waitrose going to her Spam folder.
She obviously would want them in her Inbox folder.
There is no redirection involved.
on 22-02-2026 05:10 PM
OK, still don't get it? Unless we are talking about redirecting emails from one provider to another which maybe will raise other issues. I am not proselytising for Gmail here, but I have I used it exclusively for years with no issues whatsoever.

Hi, @ferguson
It was the way to ensure that Gliwmaeden2's emails from Waitrose etc , are forced into the Inbox folder, rather than going into the Spam folder'
It can be done in a similar way within TalkTalk webnail., if the OP has the same problem.

Not sure what Gmail has to do with Tiscali, guys?

You said:
"No matter how often I approve Waitrose etc, which is clearly addressed to me specifically, Gmail defaults to Spam for that..."
Did you just do 'Not Spam' or the following?
Log into Google Mail email address --> click the Cog --> click 'See all settings'
--> click on the icon on the far right of the search bar
--> enter the email address of the email wrongly going to the spam folder --> click 'Create filter'
--> tick ON 'Never send it to Spam' --> click 'Create filter'

Thanks for tip
