Hi
Tried to up date email settings as requested by talktalk on my iPhone 11 but would not work and kept getting the message “No password provided for TalkTalk.
So couldn’t get access to my emails on my phone so tried deleting my account and setting it up again but it won’t let me set it up as I keep getting the same message.
I have checked I can still sign into webmail which I can, even tried changing password which didn’t work.
Its so annoying as was working fine before update.
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated please.

Please log in to My Account if you need to view or pay your bill, manage boosts and track your usage. From My Account you can also check your connection and test your line for any issues in the Service Centre.

Your TalkTalk mailbox will have been limited to webmail only access because of continued use of insecure settings on the iPhone and or any other devices or mail collection service you use to view your mail messages. The iPhone is capable of secure mail but will not authenticate an IMAP connection until TalkTalk restore full access.
I'll provide a guide to checking settings on the iPhone so you're ready for secure access. But do let us know if you also use other methods as some devices / services may not support secure mail so will need to be ceased. I'll request full access is restored but you must use only secure settings from now on on all devices and services.
Webmail should work.
Select here: Sign in to TalkTalk Mail
Enter your full TalkTalk Mail email address and password, select Sign in. If you get a sign in error then let us know what that says.
You say you've changed email password. Assuming the password change was successful then you'll get signed in to webmail using the new password. But, as mentioned, the iPhone will not connect yet via IMAP access.
Prepare for TalkTalk Support - include in the Community Profile (not in these public posts):
Account holder name, TalkTalk home 'phone number
Alternative mobile contact number. Full address with postcode (in the Location box)
Scroll down to Private notes to add the customer email address and account number
Check and Save changes
