I'm hoping someone can have a bright idea about why emails from any of our three Talktalk accounts are failing to reach one particular domain. I assumed they were being caught in the domain's spam filter, but I am able to access it, and there's no sign of them even reaching the server; yet they do get through to a different domain with the same hosting company, but on a different server. Other email accounts get through no problem - it's as though the Talktalk ones just disappear into the ether; no bounceback, no error messages, nothing.

Apologies for the late reply - I had to do some work; most annoying.
Thank you for a very clear & helpful answer; I'm glad now I asked the question, even though it seems the problem had in fact been sorted. We're not getting any spam from Talktalk addresses (yet, at any rate) - though an amazing number of people do seem to have caught us watching porn . . . .
All the best

If you've whitelisted talktalk.net then that's updated Apache SpamAssasin so hopefully both of the Riley Club email accounts will be available to receive TalkTalk.net emails.
Silent blocking is where SpamAssasin will simply drop the email without notification. It's doing so in the case of spam where the spam sender is deliberately not notified.
Having whitelisted talktalk.net if you do find that spam incoming from a talktalk.net email account is an issue then do please forward the unwanted email to email@example.com so that the sending account can be investigated.

Thank you very much for the response; the domain I can email is therileyrmcentre.co.uk, while I can't reach rileyrmclub.org.uk. Both are hosted by Krystal (excellent hosts, btw) and I am an administrator for both. They have already whitelisted talktalk.net on the problem domain, and it was after that that I looked in the spam logs & saw that there were no emails from Talktalk anyway.
I've not heard of silent blocking; I'm assuming from your mention of it that it's done before emails reach Spamassassins . . .
PS Aaargh! - I thought I'd have another rummage in the SpamExperts logs before posting this - sent a test email to check on - & it got through, as did a second one to another account on the same domain. So, my apologies for wasting your time - this issue had gone on for a few days before I came here, but does now seem to have been sorted.

Your assumptions are probably as good as any other. You've not given any information.
What domain is doing the blocking? What domain with the same hosting company is allowing the same TalkTalk emails through?
If I'm reading you correctly, you're able to access the hosted email account so you'll probably have access to 2 things:
